All These Changes…

• Jamie is about to leave for Oklahoma Christian (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma).  We have friends who are about to leave for Texas A & M, ACU, Harding, University of Arkansas, and a few miles away at Baylor.
• Christine (our oldest) is getting married in less than three weeks.  Oh my…
• No season tickets to high school football games.  No open house at the high school.  No more meet the teacher night.  (I think I will live without these three).
• We now have lived here 13 years.  That is different.  We have never lived in one place this long since we have been married.
• We are having a lot of fun right now.  Fun with this wedding (most of the time).  Fun watching our youngest getting ready for the first year of college.  (Will all this stuff really fit in that 4th floor dorm room?)

I have really been touched lately by the number of people who love us.  I’ve been amazed at the number of people who ask me how I/We are doing with these changes.  Some from our church and some who live in the community.  Last week I received calls from two long time friends, one in Florence, Ala. and the other in Abilene.  Just checking in.  Wow…
